Adley Day

 Adley patiently waited to be the third child for her turn with Grammy and Papa. She was ecstatic when her "Adley Day" finally arrived.

Grammy and Papa thought it was fitting to start Adley Day by taking a picture of Adley next to the luxury apartments in their neighborhood. We kinda like their name choice! ;)

Because she doesn't always fall asleep for her daily rest time, we let Adley skip her naptime and spend a full day with Grammy and Papa. She fit in a lot of activities! Their first activity was going to the sand pit.

 

Adley, also, liked the special way of pulling into the garage.

Back at Grammy and Papa's house, Adley exercised a bit...

made her delicious snack mix,

and tried out Grammy's diamond art.

Thankfully it was another good weather day for Adley and Papa to go swimming.

 

This pool was a little chilly though!

Adley chose a McDonalds Happy Meal for her lunch...

...and Fruit Ninja for her screen time.

Papa took Adley for a wagon ride after lunch, even despite some drizzly weather.

Then, Grammy taught Adley to make some sugar cookies. Adley especially liked flattening the cookie balls with the glass!

Adley wanted to do two different crafts in the afternoon-- sand art...

...and an underwater scene complete with pipe cleaner sea creatures. This 3D project looked quite impressive!

Adley ended her day by playing with Legos,

throwing a Frisbee with Papa,

and reading books with Grammy.

What a fun day! This 4-year-old was happily worn out when she arrived home. Thanks, Grammy and Papa, for another amazing day. Adley loved her time with you!
