The other unique family outing that we did over the boys' spring break was going strawberry picking. All three kids really seemed to enjoy the picking. At one point, Cody even said, "I wish I could stay here forever!"
In no time at all, our four family buckets were quite full of berries-- all at a variety of ripeness. :)
It was an absolutely gorgeous morning for berry picking! We soaked up the warm sunshine and relished in the cool breeze.
Our three berry pickers worked hard and brought in a wonderful harvest! In the days following this, we enjoyed strawberry shortcake, strawberry yogurt, strawberries on our waffles and in our ice cream, and eventually frozen strawberries too. Yum! What a delicious family outing!
