Lutheran Schools Week

At the beginning of March, our school celebrated National Lutheran School's Week. The school kicked off the week with a family-oriented activity day on Sunday after church. The boys loved bouncing on inflatables, winning a cake at the cake walk, doing carnival games, and getting their faces painted.

Each day of the week at school was a special dress-up day. The only day I remembered to take a picture was on mismatch day.

Our school capped off the week with Grandparents' Day. Grammy and Papa took turns visiting both boys' classrooms. What a treat!

The school kids sang a song for the grandparents at the opening chapel service.

Then, back in the classrooms, each boy took Grammy and Papa on a little "tour" of their classroom and finally chose from a variety of activities (completing a word search, making tissue paper flowers, playing board games). Both boys loved their time with their grandparents!

Thanks for helping to make this such a special day, Grammy and Papa!
