Adley's little playgroup continued in the new year with our twice-a-month gatherings. Our goal is always to meet once at a park and once at someone's home for a themed playdate. We don't always take pictures at the park, but this time, one of my mommy friends captured and shared some cute outdoor shots. We typically love trying out new park locations, and we all LOVED the park that we visited this month.
Isn't this a perfect merry-go-round for little ones? The kids loved "lounging out" in it.
Lots of smiles on this nice day!
Our at-home playdate this month was a snow theme. We figured that we'd at least make up some snowy fun indoors since we don't often get the real snow outdoors! One of our activities was having a snowball fight with socks. Even the mommas all joined in on this one.
Then the kids frosted snowman sugar cookies and decorated them with chocolate chips and sprinkles. Yum!
Our last activity was reading Lois Ehlert's book called Snowballs. Her book has pictures of really cute snowmen made from very unique materials. We started by sharing the book with the kids...
...and then had the kids make snowmen of their own. Definitely some original, artsy snowmen!
Here is Adley's snowman. She was SO proud of it!
I love these playgroup times with my girlie!
