This year for our family Easter egg decorating, we tried a different Paas decorating kit called Shake and Color. Our first step was to add liquid dye to bags of rice.
Then we carefully put the eggs into whichever colored bag we wanted, sealed it (very important not to skip this step!), and shook the bag.
I'm not sure whether or not it was better than the typical dyeing kits, but it was fun to experiment with something new. Our eggs did turn out pretty interesting-looking!
What a fun idea! What technique do you think you'll try next year? I've heard that the shaving cream/food coloring trick works for Easter eggs, too.
