Near the end of the calendar year, Adley's playgroup had get-togethers for both Thanksgiving and Christmas. Adley and I look forward to our time with these friends and really enjoy the time to connect (and play!).
For Thanksgiving, we read a book about thankfulness,
played Pin the Tail on the Turkey,
and tried to "stuff" the turkey. What clever ideas!
Then, we paused for a snack--complete with a turkey juice box!
I forgot to take a photo of Adley's completed craft, but the kids made little turkeys using decorated coffee filters and clothespins. They turned out pretty cute.
For our Christmas playdate, we enjoyed snowman popcorn and tasty hot chocolate.
What a bunch of goofballs!
Our activities included making beaded Christmas trees...
... and playing hot potato with a large Saran Wrap ball filled with toys. So fun!
Another day of fun memories with this bunch!
