Cody waited eagerly for his special day with Grammy and Papa. When his day finally arrived, Cody Day started out very rainy. We were worried that he wouldn't get to fit in any outdoor activities, but thankfully the rain cleared out by the afternoon. Grammy and Papa were real troopers and took Cody canoeing and to the sand pit in the afternoon--which is quite the sacrifice in this Texas heat! Here is what Cody said about his day:
When I got to Grammy and Papa's, I tucked in all of my stuffies (Lovey Kai, Goo-Goow, Povey, and all my birds) into my tortilla blanket.
Then I made my pipe cleaner piggy. I really thought it was cool.
Here is my finished piggy.
Then I made my alligator. I really think it was also cool.
Piggy and Alligator are sitting together.
Next I read Papa my Cookie books that I had written on my ipad.
Then I did 20 Questions with Papa. I really like that sometimes the game loses.
Here, I made my Cody Snack 2020. It was super delicious. I wrote all of the ingredients on the bag.
I put all of the ingredients into the Cody Snack 2020.
I watched Ralph Breaks the Internet. It was a SUPER good movie.
Then, I went on a wagon ride with Papa. I'm still not too old for that!
Later, I did Wordscapes on Grammy's phone.
After lunch, I went on a canoe ride. I even helped carry it out with Grammy and Papa's help.
I was always paddling on the right side, never on the left. I liked canoeing so much.
Then I went swimming in the pool with Papa.
I squirted Papa with water.
Then after we went to the pool, we went to Gleannloch Farms where horses were. On the bench was a kitty. Grammy and Papa let me touch it. It was a super cute kitty even though it clawed at me.
Then I pet a horse. I don't remember the horse's name though.
After that I dug a humongous hole at the sand pit. Even a shovel could fit in it.
Grammy and Papa built a sand castle while I was digging my hole.
At their house, I played Healeix with Grammy. That's a game that I made. It was super fun.
Cody Day was super awesome because I get to do whatever I want. Grammy and Papa are super kind.
Our kids are so thankful for these precious memories and will always treasure their time with you. Thanks again, Grammy and Papa, for loving and spending time with our kiddos!
