After Adley's 2nd birthday, I decided she was ready for her first haircut. Adley's hair had naturally grown in two distinct layers, and it was starting to look a little choppy with her fine hair. I didn't feel comfortable cutting her hair (like I do for her big brothers), so we made an appointment at a kids' salon for Adley's first official haircut! Grandma was still visiting, so she joined us for the milestone occasion.
Adley didn't have a problem with the salon at all... until we put her in the tall chair. Thankfully, this salon knows how to handle kids! Immediately, the stylist whips out an iPad and puts on an episode of Curious George for Adley. Tears dried instantly. Problem solved. :)
It's still safe to say that Adley didn't love the experience...
...but she tolerated it just fine!
The stylist didn't cut too much off Adley's hair-- just a couple inches, but it looked so nice evened out into just one length. The whole process didn't take much time at all.
Adley was particularly excited about getting a sucker at the end.
