June Misc

 Since it's already November, it's about time for me to catch up on all our family's summer photos! 😉 Here are some events from June:

Birthday Treats

Jaden and Cody's actual birthday was on a Wednesday this summer, so they requested a few events to make it special. We started out with some morning donuts... 

...visited Bouncin' Bears in the afternoon, and then topped the day off with a sweet treat at Tutti Frutti in the evening. 

Family VBS

In lieu of a daytime Bible school, our church coordinated an evening Family VBS in June. We traveled around to various stations, participating in the activities as a family. Jaden and Cody especially enjoyed the games station.

The crafts station was mission focused. All of the items we created were donated to a local pregnancy center-- photo frames for new babies and their families,

and iron-on onesies.

Another station was in the community center where we could eat dinner and hang out with some friends.

Each evening also included a worship element. We are thankful for our church's unique ideas to keep our family learning and growing in Jesus!

Water Fun

Time spent in the water is a MUST in Texas! One day, we enjoyed a morning of swimming with cousins while Aunt Kim had teacher meetings.

Another day, we got out our old slip n slide. The neighbors joined in, too, for some water balloon baseball. "Sliding into home" takes on a whole new meaning on a slip n slide!

Father's Day

We are thankful for this remarkable Daddy in our household! In celebration of Father's Day, the kids each created a little booklet for Jason of things they appreciate about him.

Jason enjoyed taking Jaden and Cody out to hit some golf balls on the driving range. The boys liked trying out the golf clubs we had given them for Christmas. 

What a fun start to our summer!
