Schleicher Family Christmas - Part 2

During our Christmas week with the Schleicher family, we enjoyed a few different outings together. One day while the older grandkids were still at school, Grandpa and Grandma joined Adley, Nathan and Isaiah on a trip to the Children's Museum.

Another day, the whole crew (minus Beth and Andy who hadn't yet arrived) spent a day at the zoo. The December weather was just gorgeous for being outdoors!

The cousins, as always, enjoyed their time together. :)

Of course, we had to capture some group photos...

One evening, Matt borrowed the school bus from Concordia so that we could fit the whole family in one vehicle to look at Christmas lights. Unfortunately the neighborhood that we planned on visiting was crammed full of people and the traffic was horrendous! So, we ended up driving a long way to see just a few lights, but our time together was still memorable. Our busload of people sang countless Christmas carols and ate popcorn along the way.

One of our last outings was going to Chuck E Cheese. Not surprisingly, all of the kiddos loved throwing our money to the wind... er, I mean, playing all the fun games! :) Adley tried out a few games like whack-a-mole and a fun water gun shooting game. Her favorite, though, was going on all the little rides. Cody and Jaden especially loved the racing games and any sports-related games. Even Uncle Andy joined in on the fun. He hit the jackpot with the tickets and gifted all of his nephews with his winnings.

We love it when we are busy having fun! Great times with the Schleicher Fam! :)
