Before Jon and Chelsea left town to celebrate Christmas with Chelsea's family, the Texas Schleicher relatives got together to exchange Christmas gifts. Chelsea prepared a delicious meal for our crew.
Adley was quite excited for her first Christmas gift opening. :) She was a big fan of her festive Christmas socks from Uncle Andy and Aunt Beth and of her fancy bow from cousin Abby.
The big boy cousins worked together to sort out all the kids' presents into piles.
We opened presents in age order (youngest first), so Adley had a turn right after cousin Noah. Adley needed some help from her mommy and big brothers to open her gifts. She LOVED receiving a bunch of new lift-the-flap books from Uncle Jon and Aunt Chelsea.
Some of Cody's gifts included a new 100-piece puzzle, a build-your-own T-Rex set, and a Charlie Brown coloring book.
Jaden received a Geronimo Stilton DVD, the card game Sleeping Queens (which quickly became a new favorite in our household!), and a 3-in-1 robot building set.
Right away after opening all his gifts, Cody wanted to try out some of his new coloring pages. He even willingly shared some pages with his brother.
What a generous family we have! All three of our kiddos loved their gifts. We were thankful for the chance to celebrate all together.
