Birthday Interviews

Soon after Cody and Jaden's birthday, I interviewed them about some of their favorite things. The Q&A are also recorded below the videos in case you can't understand the boys or in case you want to bypass the videos altogether. :) 

CODY'S 4-YEAR-OLD INTERVIEWS


How old are you -- I'm 4
Who is your best friend -- Ryan
Favorite thing to do -- Lite Brite, play on car mat, Give Store
Favorite food -- cereal
Least favorite food -- asparagus
Something you like to do with family -- play games
Favorite toy -- Trigger (Grammy and Papa's rocking horse)


 

What you want do when you grow up -- cook dinner
What makes you happy -- watching Daddy mow, helping Daddy mow
What makes you sad -- nothing (Jaden gives an alternate idea in the background!)
Favorite book -- Alexander and the Horrible, Not Very Good, Bad Day
Favorite show -- Curious George
Favorite movie -- Paddington
Where you like to go -- Bouncin' Bears



Favorite treat -- candy
What you think about at bedtime -- what should I do in morning
Favorite animal -- my teddy bear
Favorite song -- O Come All Ye A Faithful
Favorite thing to wear -- clothes... my PJs
What are you afraid of -- dinosaurs and bears and witches and lions and tigers and crocodiles and mean horsies
What are you really good at -- coloring



What are you not very good at -- waking you up
What would you change your name to -- Mommy

JADEN'S 4-YEAR-OLD INTERVIEWS



Who is your best friend -- Ryan, Cody, Ian
Favorite thing to do -- go to movies and watch videos; Family Movie Night
Favorite color -- every color
Favorite food -- meatloaf
Least favorite food -- pickles and mustard
What you like to do with family -- I like when they babysit me
Favorite toy -- a Lego set



What you want to do when you are bigger -- play on car mat
What makes you happy -- playing with pictures
What makes you sad -- when I get sick and other people get sick
Favorite book -- my birthday book when I turned 3



Favorite book -- (title) Race from A to Z
Favorite show to watch -- Curious George and Boz
Favorite movie -- It's about nice people defeating bad people
Where do you like to go -- movie theater



Favorite animal -- cute little froggie, cute little birdie, cute little duckie, and baby woodpeckers
Favorite song -- Jesus Loves Me
Favorite thing to wear -- my Lions shirt
What are you afraid of -- bad guys coming into my house and stealing me (Not sure where this one came from...my poor worrier child! We had a longer chat about this after the video was done.)
What are you really good at -- staying in the lines on pictures
What are you not very good at -- hopping on one leg



What would you change your name to -- Ryan Doctor
Favorite restaurant -- Old McDonald
What you like to do with Mommy -- play games and play on car mat
What you like to do with Daddy -- build a fort with him
What you like to do with friends -- play on playground and with toys
What do you like about Sunday School -- I like to play with toys
Favorite game -- Hunting for Lost People (?? This one was new to me!)

  1. It made me so happy to read these! I love hearing their answers. I'll have to ask Cody how to play Give Store. His list of things he's afraid of is do cute! I'm glad he's loving Hoot Owl Hoot (or maybe you just played it right before the interview). I never knew that Jaden loved meatloaf so much! His list of favorite animals is precious.and it's hilarious that his future aspiration is playing on the car mat. Mission accomplished! Thanks for sharing these...and for the good reminder that I need to do my boys' interviews, too. What fun memories!
